Race 1 ended early for Joey as a wheel hub failed at 113 MPH on the exit of "The Kink"
Joey climbed to P5 overall in Race 2 after starting P45 due to missing Qualifying 2
“I went into this weekend with zero expectations. I’m leaving feeling quite happy with everything we have learned, from the car feeling perfect during the first practice session on Friday to the wheel hub failing during Race 1 on Saturday. We experienced everything and then some.”

9 months after beginning initial talks about moving up to Spec MX-5, the day was finally here, my first race weekend in the series. A new car, a new team, a new track, and a new series. An exciting adventure was about to begin!
