Looking ahead to the 2026 Season

Joey's focus is not only on securing victories in Spec MX-5 during the 2026 season but also on looking ahead and preparing for the 2026 Mazda MX-5 Cup Shootout. This includes testing, competing, and gearing up to race in MX-5 Cup in 2027.

The 5 Year Plan

Joey’s career goal is to win the 24 Hours of Le Mans. To do this he has a 5 year plan to reach Le Mans. After winning the 2024 Mazda Spec MX-5 Shootout and completing his rookie year in Spec MX-5, Joey will campaign a second season in the series with the goal of winning. Following Spec MX-5, Joey looks to race in a pro-level series such as MX-5 Cup. Then the next step is GT4. From there it’s all about moving into a GT3 car and then we are at the footsteps of Le Mans.
