KEY MOMENTS

  • In qualifying Joey’s wheel bearing failed resulting in him not getting in a single push lap

  • Starting from the back in Race 1, Joey got a great start making his way to P2 before making a costly mistake at the last turn on the last lap where he finished the race in the pit lane

  • In Race 2 Joey battled an overheating car to come home P5 after a chaotic safety car restart

“While we showed great pace over one lap, the results simply weren’t there.  My fate was determined by the car temperatures and a race restart. This was a tough weekend to swallow”
