This was Joey's first time racing at the SCCA Runoffs, a week-long championship finale at Road America
With the new Roush engine, this was the most competitive car Joey has raced all season
A P9 finish is Joey's best result of the season with the Mazda Motorsports Factory Team
This was a week of missed opportunities, as the fuel line disconnected in Qualifying 2 and we battled brake fade throughout the race. I felt that we never got to show our true potential. Despite that, I think we can leave this week feeling happy on the driving side, knowing we finished the season strong.

Top 10 Finish In My First SCCA Runoffs
With this being my first ever SCCA Runoffs, I wanted to make a good impression. I was hoping to leave with a top 10 finish and we did just that after an intense battle all race long. I'm happy to say we ended the year on a high.
