KEY MOMENTS
Despite Friday’s running being cut short due to replacing a gearbox, Joey was fast out of the gate
Joey got his first “Grand Slam” on Saturday qualifying on pole, leading every lap, getting the fastest lap of race, and the race win
Sunday saw extreme rain arrive, after getting caught up in a Turn 1 incident Joey got stuck and fell a lap down
“Coming off a very close win, I knew we had to get everything right to remain competitive. While Sunday didn’t go to plan, I am very pleased with Saturday’s performance, getting my first Grand Slam.”

Navigating Chaos: A Weekend Of Two Halves
Following one of the most dramatic races I’ve ever had at Willow Springs, this weekend would be about getting everything right. On top of that, I had the added challenges of little running on Friday due to gearbox issues and the extreme rain on Sunday.
