KEY MOMENTS
This was Joey’s first Spec Miata race since the 4-month long summer break
Joey took the win in Race 1 with a bold move using traffic from a car in another class
Battling an issue with the differential, Joey managed to bring the car home to finish 3rd, further extending his championship lead
“Going into this weekend our goal was to maintain, if not extend our championship lead. Although I wish our pace was stronger, we managed to do that in both races and the race win on Saturday was a nice bonus.”
